Terms of Service

By accessing or using Ashley (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Helios Connect LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Ashley is a health literacy and educational tool. The Service and its outputs are intended to help you understand your own health data in plain language. They are not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

• Nothing on Ashley constitutes the practice of medicine, nursing, or any other licensed health care profession.
• Lab interpretations, trend analyses, and supplement information are educational in nature and do not constitute a diagnosis or treatment recommendation.
• Always seek the advice of a qualified health care provider regarding any medical condition or before changing any prescribed treatment.
• In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not use Ashley for emergency medical needs.

Ashley uses artificial intelligence, including Anthropic Claude, to generate interpretations, narratives, and insights based on your health data.

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. The Company makes no warranty that AI outputs are complete, accurate, or up to date.
• AI models can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information. Always verify AI-generated content with your healthcare provider.
• You should not make any medical, financial, or other significant decisions based solely on AI-generated content from Ashley.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You must not share your login credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to use Ashley to:

• Upload data belonging to another person without their explicit consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Re-share or republish AI-generated health interpretations as medical advice to third parties.

The Ashley platform, including its software, design, and non-user-generated content, is owned by Helios Connect LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

You own your data. The health records, journal entries, and other content you upload or create in Ashley remain your property. You grant Helios Connect LLC a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership over any health data you provide. Deleting your account terminates this license and removes your data from our systems.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Helios Connect LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for:

• Any harm, injury, or adverse health outcome resulting from reliance on Ashley content or AI-generated interpretations.
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service.
• Loss of data due to technical failures, security incidents, or service interruptions.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

You may permanently delete your account and all associated health data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — we cannot recover your data after deletion.

We will retain data only as required by law (e.g., financial records). Health and personal data is permanently purged upon account deletion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Ashley after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
